February marked a significant milestone for Pochin’s, as we recorded a ZERO RIDDOR accident frequency rate for the first time in our history.
This statistic puts Pochin’s at the forefront in the marketplace when it comes to workplace safety, and reflects our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our people.
In the last 12 months, Pochin’s has worked to create a stronger health and safety culture throughout the business. This has included ensuring that every member of the team has hazard identification front of mind on a daily basis.
Jon Adams, managing director at Pochin’s, said: “This is an extraordinary achievement for the team and our supply chain. I’m proud to say that as a business, we are wholly committed to ensuring that our employees and partners go home safely each day.
“When it comes to health and safety, there is no room for complacency, and we will be striving to maintain this level of vigilance over the next 12 months and beyond.”
