Pochin’s is pleased to announce that it will be supporting national cancer charity Maggie’s as its designated charity in 2017.
Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer, as well as their family and friends. Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie’s Centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need when faced with the disease.
Maggie’s Manchester opened at The Christie Hospital in 2016 and has been providing much needed support to people across the region.
Eddie Bredenhann, Business Development and Marketing Director at Pochin’s, said: “With our long history working in the North West, it is very important to us to be able to support local charities that are making a real difference to the lives of people across the region. Having been involved in the development of The Christie’s Cancer Research Centre in Manchester, we’ve seen first-hand the positive impact Maggie’s has had a on the community since it opened last year. Pochin’s is only too pleased to be able to help ensure Maggie’s continues to provide the exceptional care and support it has become known for.”
