Things were hotting up at Pochin’s this month, with Director Eddie Bredenhann donning his chef hat for the Masterchef style ‘The Cook Off’ in a fundraising effort.
The steaks were high at Manchester’s The Midland Hotel, where eight of the local business elite had two hours to prepare a main course that was taste-tested by professional chefs Simon Rogan, Simon Wood and Aidan Byrne.
Eddie made sure his culinary efforts weren’t a flash in the pan, and dazzled chefs with his signature steak dish.
The event was organised by Taylor Made Group and raised funds for B Positive, a national charity that supports patients and families of adults diagnosed with acute leukemia. The company are expecting to have raised thousands for this worthwhile foundation.
